NATIONAL INSURANCE BROKERS ASSOCIATION OF LITHUANIA National Insurance Brokers Association of Lithuania (NIBA), is a non-profit Lithuanian association uniting 28 insurance brokers companies in Lithuania, representing the interests of insurance brokers, acting in 7 largest cities of Lithuania. NIBA is one of founders (01.12.2010 Riga, Latvia) of Baltic Insurance Brokers Association.
NIBA’s main aim is to promote a business environment in which independent insurance intermediaries can prosper and that, at the same time, ensures fair competition, an adequate level of consumer protection and a sound insurance market.
NIBA mission is not only defence of members interests, but also continuing to promote professional standards through education and training, with a new focus on training that develops a greater understanding of market reform. NIBA Board: Vytis Ledas (president), Gitana Žilinskienė, Danuta Savicka, Jūratė Steponavičienė, Juozas Viešūnas, Vytautas Šilingas, Darius Povilaitis.
